Recognizing that sales are the engine to move the economy forward, the Puerto Rico Sales and Marketing Association will present international speaker Milton Olave during its upcoming SME Sales Summit conference.

Olave, a sales and business growth expert, is considered the Latino counterpart to motivational speaker Anthony Robbins. Olave has more than 12 years of experience providing trainings focused on delivering results in the areas of sales, motivation, negotiation, high performance, influence, persuasion, public speaking and empowering teams. He will offer two seminars that day.

The summit will take place Feb. 21 at the InterContinental Hotel in Isla Verde and is part of the activities the SME organizes to mark Sales Professionals Week, which takes place this year Feb. 16-22.

“Like every year, the SME Sales Summit includes a first-rate educational program, entirely in Spanish, focused on the needs identified by our salespeople as the most pressing, so that they can better serve the customer and successfully represent their companies,” said SME Puerto Rico President Nélida Rivera-Claudio.

“Now more than ever our sales force should be empowered with knowledge and new tools that allow them to continue contributing to economic growth,” she said.

The agenda also includes talks by local sales and marketing professionals Félix Pola Rivera, general manager of FranklinCovey Puerto Rico, Hebé Lugo, founder of marketing firm Strategic Minds and Juan Carlos Sánchez, partner at Pixelogic Agency.
