More tenants attach their names to The Mall of San Juan

The list of retailers planning to open stores at The Mall of San Juan continues to grow, with the addition of five more tenants, this media outlet confirmed through industry sources.
Brooks Brothers, Cellairis, Designer Eyes, Footaction, and Swatch complete the latest batch of tenants that have confirmed their plans to either make their market debut, or expand their operations for the first time outside the U.S. mainland.
Brooks Brothers, the oldest men’s clothing chain in the United States, confirmed it will be opening its second store in Puerto Rico at new mall slated to open Mar. 26. With the opening, Brooks Brothers will expand it’s presence on the island, where it already has a location in Plaza Las Américas in Hato Rey.
Cellairis, a mobile accessory specialty retailer, will be opening its first store in Puerto Rico, adding to its 700-location footprint that covers the U.S. mainland, Canada and the United Kingdom.
Also venturing into Puerto Rico for the first time will be Designer Eyes, which will open at the mall during the first week of April. Designer Eyes is an eyewear retailer selling an array of brands that has three stores in south Florida — at the Dolphin Mall, Sawgrass Mills Mall, and Lincoln Avenue in South Beach.
Footaction, a national athletic footwear and apparel retailer, is also expanding its local footprint. In preparation for the opening, the retailer is already seeking out retail staff, according to job postings on its sitio web.
Rounding out the list is wristwatch retailer Swatch, which will join its sister division Omega at the new mall.
With the confirmation of the five stores, The Mall of San Juan’s list of retailers exceeds 40.
