TransCita, a company that provides transportation to health providers, announced the launch of its new program “TransCita Asiste,” directed at all Puerto Rico co-op’s and associations.

Additionally, the company formalized its first agreement to provide this service to Vegabajeña Co-op, it announced.

“TransCita Asiste” is a program designed especially for co-op members, who will gain access to health services as well as transportation across the entire island. Benefits include pick-up and delivery of pharmacy medication, laboratory and radiology results, personalized reminders of medical appointments and medical referral and nurse services.

Furthermore, the “TransCita Asiste” program will also provide non-emergency islandwide transportation to medical appointments and treatments of all kinds, as well as laboratory and radiology tests, among other services.

“Here at TransCita, we’re proud of the innovation and improvement of all our services, programs and products for the benefit of our people,” said Juan C. Jiménez Bosques, president of TransCita.

“Today we find ourselves very pleased, as we formalize our first business partnership with Vegabajeña Co-op,” he said. “These new programs allow us to continue to bring high-quality services to customers and members of our company.”

Meanwhile, Jomar Martínez, president of Vegabajeña Co-op, said “the ‘TransCita Asiste’ program offers all our members a better quality of life by providing them with transportation and access to health services throughout the island.”
