Ambar Infiniti Puerto Rico dealer lands global award
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety recognized the Infiniti Q50 model as the 2014 Top Safety Pick.
The Ambar Infiniti dealership was recently recognized with the prestigious Global Infiniti Performance Award, which is awarded by Infiniti Motor Company Limited. It is the first time Infiniti Puerto Rico receives this distinction globally, representing a “proud moment” for the company, executives said Thursday.
“This award makes us proud and commits our team to continue to strengthen processes throughout the operation and maintain an inspired performance to support quality assurance and the brand’s prestige that represents the best value offering in Puerto Rico’s luxury car segment,” said Gasón Rivera, commercial director of Ambar Infiniti in Puerto Rico.
Locally, Infiniti brand sales showed an increase of 21.7 percent compared to the same period (January to May) in 2013, positioning itself as the luxury car brand with the highest growth in Puerto Rico. With this growth in sales, Infiniti Puerto Rico maintains its leadership in market share worldwide. Moreover, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety recognized the Infiniti Q50 model as the 2014 Top Safety Pick.
Rivera, as well as José Ordeix, president of Nissan Puerto Rico, which distributes Infiniti, traveled recently to Barcelona, Spain to pick up the award.
