The ASC’s new Vega Baja office offers services to clients in the northern region.

The Compulsory Liability Insurance Joint Underwriting Association (known as ASC for its initial in Spanish) recently inaugurated a new service center in Vega Baja, to give access to clients in the region.

Ensured customers and claimants living in Manatí, Vega Alta, Vega Baja, Morovis, Dorado, Barceloneta, Ciales, Orocovis, Corozal and Florida now have access to the ASC’s newest facilities to conduct their insurance claim procedures.

The stand–alone service center, located on Route 2 in Vega Baja, offers a designated area for delivery of documents, a car damage assessment area and orientation coordination.

“The new center will elevate the quality of service offered by the ASC, also offering waiting areas and spaces divided into small rooms to provide privacy during the process, allowing a special attention to our policyholders,” said José L. Blanco-Latorre, president of the ASC.

The Vega Baja service center, which generates nine full-time jobs, received 15,445 visits from policyholders and claimants during 2014. The ASC has 12 service centers islandwide.
