Liberty Business, Liberty Puerto Rico’s business division, on Monday launched its own corporate identity along with its dedicated website, logo and media campaign with the slogan “A tu medida.”

The campaign will run on local television, radio, print and digital media outlets.

The identity launch illustrates Liberty Business’ growth as a leading telecommunications services provider for the island’s business sector. The business division, with its unique offerings, has its own identity, structure, message and culture to further reflect its differences from Liberty’s residential service platform.

“We understand that every business, regardless of its size, has different requirements and needs. We have designed and implemented a process that permits us to adapt to our customers’ needs. That is our promise to the business market: to provide business services a tu medida,” said Antonio Llona, vice president of Liberty Business.

Liberty Business’ dedicated sales team guides prospective customers through a process of discovery and consultancy and conduct a thorough interview to determine the businesses’ needs. The division’s engineers follow with a design and a solution that best fit the customers, taking into account their technical, financial and implementation needs.

Liberty Business’ independent identity launch is fueled by the fast growth of the business-to-business segment in Puerto Rico. In 2015, the division delivered year-over-year business revenue growth in excess of 20 percent.

“We have been doing things differently from our competitors for some time now. These changes both support our new identity and have yielded increased sales,” said Llona. “We have reorganized our technical support groups, we have increased our sales force, and no other competitor in Puerto Rico has the capacity and fiber optic deployment to serve the business sector better than we do.”

Liberty Business offers an array of business services throughout the entire island and its network footprint covers 90 percent of businesses in Puerto Rico. The division’s customers can receive fiber optic or coaxial-based service that includes Internet broadband speeds of 5Mbps to 10Gbps, dedicated Ethernet services for interconnection between locations, Wide Area Network (WAN) setup, advanced telephony services (SIP and PRI), video services and service guarantees.

“The Internet connection that we offer our corporate business customers is dedicated, resulting in a higher performance and a much more secure connection,” Llona said. “It’s also symmetrical, which means customers get the same high-speed broadband for both upload and download, and it’s not subjected to any power outages on the island.”

The division employs a staff of 75 people that specialize in all customer experience aspects, including sales, customer service and a technical support group for business customers. Liberty Business’ personnel is hired locally and entirely based in Hato Rey.

Liberty Business has been serving the business sector in Puerto Rico for nine years. This year, the division began to serve business customers in southern and western Puerto Rico, expanding its coverage throughout the entire island.
