This type of development would not only destroy Ceiba but also Culebra Vieques and surrounding areas. If the vertical launch becomes reality, Starwood Property development might pull back their development initiatives. The ecosystem s would also be greatly diminished. The serene natural area is exactly what draws tourists to the island. Vertical launch space craft will only serve the very few ultra rich. Ceiba will not benefit.
