Puerto Rican technology company Nagnoi Inc. recently won the 2013 Microsoft “Health Partner of the Year” award for the Latin American Region, being honored among a regional field of top Microsoft partners at the 2013 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Houston earlier this month.

The award was given for demonstrating excellence in innovation and in the application of customer solutions, Nagnoi said.

“Nagnoi Inc. is extremely satisfied with the fact that our passion to increase our customer’s competitiveness has been recognized by Microsoft. Our team is proud of being selected as the 2013 Health Partner of the Year for the Latin American Region,” said Miguel Colom-Mena, principal at Nagnoi Inc.

“This award represents a great recognition for Nagnoi after 11 years of results-oriented execution, transforming critical business processes, improving the execution of strategic projects, and integrating their information assets for better decision making for all of our clients,” he said.

Nagnoi Inc. was recognized for the implementation of a visualization-driven solution known as STARSTrack. The solution allows customers to manage the Five-Star Quality Rating Program of the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

STARSTrack facilitates proactive monitoring of all the performance measures through the use of advanced analytics and action based reporting integrated in a user-friendly collaborative portal environment. This enables Medicare Advantage plans to maximize bonus payments under CMS’s Five Star Quality Rating Program, as well as providing better care management for its members.

“The great effort made so far by your team, along with a demonstrated commitment to Microsoft, is a genuine cause for celebration for all of us in the region. We are grateful for what we have achieved working together and we celebrate the recognition Nagnoi Inc. has received,” said Sandra Yachelini, general manager and partner solutions, small and medium companies for Microsoft Latin America.
