Some 150 properties are auctioned off each week, sometimes 60 in a single day, but attendance remains low due to a lack of information available to the public on these events, website developers said.

Looking to provide economic alternatives and new solutions to Puerto Rico and to attract different markets interested in investing on the island, E&S Group Inc. recently launched the new digital platform EdictosySubastas.com.

The website collects, organizes, and presents detailed reports on auctions that are taking place in Puerto Rico in different judicial centers. Auctions take place every day at the courts, which are open to the public and free to participate for people interested in buying assets as an investment or for personal use.

EdictosySubastas.com makes it easier for buyers to find properties that are coming up for auction, allowing quick and organized access to a previously unknown market for many.

The subscription-based service will enable users to find the following information: Detailed description of the property up for auction; reports and observations of the properties up for auction; images, addresses and maps to locate the properties; place and date where the auction will be held; and initial asking price, among other data. The platform also allows users to view the inventory through its mobile app, available for Android and iOS systems.
