Telecommunications provider Claro announced Monday the opening of its newest store, located at the Gato Sector of the mountain town of Orocovis.

The new 340 square-foot location is part of the carrier’s plan to expand its points of sales throughout Puerto Rico, executives said.

“For Claro, it’s a priority to be close to our customers. That’s why we continue opening stores, in the city or in the countryside, on the coast or up on the mountain, as is the case of Orocovis, looking to better serve our clients,” said Claro President Enrique Ortiz de Montellano.

Meanwhile, Orocovis Mayor Jesús E. Colón-Berlingeri thanked Claro’s decision to open a location in that town, “offering our people cutting-edge technology and new services that will be well-received.”

The new store features a broad equipment portfolio, as well as markets a number of services, such as fixed telephone, Claro móvil, Claro Internet, and Claro TV IPTV.
