Puerto Rico’s Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport unveiled Wednesday its new website, which will feature a number of useful tools for both passengers and visitors, including flight searches and real-time status updates, said Agustín Arellano, CEO of Aerostar Airport Holdings, the company that manages the facility.

“The website will be very useful for passengers as it has an application that provides information on the status of all flights serving the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport. It also contains maps showing the location of the security checkpoints, U.S. Department of Agriculture areas and concessions,” the executive said.

The website also features other data, such as weather updates for San Juan, as well as information about the Transportation Security Administration, USDA and Customs and Immigration. This will enable passengers to know which items can carry while traveling. In addition, the website provides information about parking, transportation and directions to get to the airport.

“We hope that the website will make the passenger’s journey easier and give them the necessary information to make their visit to the airport as pleasant as possible,” said Arellano.

The website is also available in mobile format, making it accessible via smartphones and other wireless devices.
