The Ritz-Carlton, San Juan has been named as an award winner in the 2016 edition of U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Hotel Rankings,” receiving a “Best Hotel in Market” award for its presence in Puerto Rico.

Forty hotels and resorts within The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. have been named award winners.

To qualify for this accolade, U.S. News & World Report identifies the best hotels using a methodology centered on three components: reputation among professional travel experts, guest reviews, and hotel class ratings.

The highly respected organization ranked more than 2,500 hotels across the United States, Caribbean, Mexico and Canada — with the top 10 percent among the luxury segment analyzed and selected as winners.

“We are extremely proud to be recognized with such an elite and global award,” said Jacqueline Volkart, general manager of The Ritz-Carlton, San Juan. “The commitment to legendary service excellence that our Ladies and Gentleman provide to our guests is the primary reason our resort is receiving this significant honor for our market.”

The beachfront Ritz-Carlton, San Juan has become one of Puerto Rico’s most iconic and well-known luxury resorts.
