Seaborne Airlines is making travel even cheaper and easier by offering $1,200 of travel for each $1,000 when customers add funds to their Seaborne accounts during the next three weeks.

There is no limit to the amount customers can add to a travel account, so the more money added to an account, the more money they will save. Seaborne will provide travelers with a $200 gift certificate for each $1,000 added to their account. The gift certificates can be used for travel through Dec. 31, 2014 with no restrictions or blackout dates, the carrier said.

Customers adding $2,000 to their travel account will receive a $400 voucher in the form of a Seaborne gift certificate. Travelers adding $3,000 will receive $600, those adding $4,000 will receive $800, those adding $5,000 will get $1,000, and those adding $10,000 will receive $2,000.

Unlike “coupon books” offered by other airlines, Seaborne travel accounts, and the gift certificates, can be used to book travel to any city served by Seaborne through an online account.

“Seaborne travel accounts have been especially popular with travelers in the U.S. Virgin Islands where Seaborne operates up to 30 flights a day between St. Thomas and St. Croix — three times as many flights between the islands as the next largest airline,” Seaborne said.
