Bahía Beach Resort selects Claro as telecom provider
Telecommuncations company Claro Puerto Rico and the St. Regis Bahía Beach Resort and Golf Club announced an agreement by which the former will provide the residents of Bahía Beach its television and fiber optic broadband services with speeds of up to 150 Megas for Internet service.
Bahía residents will also have connectivity to Claro TV IPTV paid television services, joining homes in the in Las Estancias, Las Olas, Las Verandas and Las Ventanas sectors of the posh property, which already have access to Claro’s fiber-optic network.

“We are excited to begin this new era with Claro. This partnership will improve the TV, Internet and Wi-Fi options available to the residents of Bahía Beach,” said Martin Smith, Bahía Beach Resort and Golf Club managing director.
Claro will offer speeds of 75, 80, 100, 125 and 150 Megabits with a dedicated port for each residence. Broadband service may be combined with Claro TV IPTV, which offers benefits not available through traditional cable offerings, including the ability to view four channels at once, browse the guide and see what’s on other channels without missing out what is currently being watched, among other features.
