Puerto Rico’s retail sector stands to lose more than $8.4 million if power remains down for more than six months, the Retail Business Association warned Monday.
Mall operator DDR Corp. said all 12 of its Puerto Rico properties are now “clean and safe” and most anchor tenants are reopening as conditions allow.
The Puerto Rico Retail Association, known as ACDET in Spanish, will host an event Sept. 27 focusing on “The Future of Retail,” Lymaris Otero, executive director of the trade group announced.
