The Puerto Rico Green Energy Fund will be assigning $4 million in subsidies to develop “green” projects for homes and small business island wide during an application process that starts tomorrow at 8 a.m.
Renewable energy site developers are hopeful that the process of establishing wind and solar farms in Puerto Rico will get easier as more projects in the pipeline are approved.
The Public Buildings Authority has entered into an agreement with New York-based utiliVisor to monitor energy consumption at the Minillas Government Center in Santurce, which houses a number of public agencies in several buildings.
