Puerto Rico’s economy stands to make $200 million a year through the arrival of Southwest Airlines, which landed on the island for the first time Sunday morning, carrying more than 170 passengers from Orlando.
Southwest Airlines is giving customers “something to LUV” with a three-day fare sale that ends today at 11:59 p.m. in the originating city’s time zone.
Southwest Airlines announced Thursday the start of new service between the the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in Carolina to Orlando and Tampa Bay, Florida starting April 2013.
