Avnet Technology Solutions, an operating group of Avnet, Inc. announced Wednesday the expansion of its Latin America and Caribbean relationship with Oracle from Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Puerto Rico to also include Venezuela, as well as bolstered offerings in Puerto Rico, where Oracle Software is already available.
Specifically, Avnet will now offer Oracle’s full-stack capabilities, including Oracle Systems, Oracle Technology and Oracle Applications in Venezuela. Additionally, Avnet will provide channel partners with Oracle Systems initially in Puerto Rico, and Avnet plans to extend this into other Caribbean markets in the future.
Combining Oracle’s state-of-the-art offerings and Avnet’s market-proven integration expertise, these expansions can allow channel partners in these markets to more effectively address their customers’ business needs.
“These are key market inroads in the Latin America and Caribbean region for Avnet and Oracle,” said Jackelin Ramírez, general manager for the Northern Cone Region at Avnet Technology Solutions, Latin America and Caribbean.
“It’s noteworthy for channel partners because they will be able to rely on our local market knowledge and regional business development practices in Venezuela. Both local Venezuelan and worldwide channel partners that want to establish operations in Venezuela will benefit from this launch,” she said.
“In the case of our Puerto Rico operations, this addition will gradually enable VARs in the Caribbean to complete their offerings with Oracle Systems designed for the middleware, software and applications that Oracle provides for end users,” Ramírez noted.
