1919, Levant named to OpenTable’s 2025 Top Hotel Restaurants list

Two San Juan restaurants — 1919 at the Condado Vanderbilt Hotel and Levant at La Concha Resort — have been named to the 2025 Top Hotel Restaurants guide by OpenTable and KAYAK, becoming the only Puerto Rico-based venues to earn the distinction.
The annual guide highlights hotel dining establishments that combine exceptional food, service and ambiance. This year’s rankings were based on guest ratings, preference metrics and five-star reviews.
1919, located in the historic Condado Vanderbilt, is known for its refined farm-to-table approach and commitment to locally sourced ingredients. Levant, a Mediterranean concept led by chef Michael White, opened recently at La Concha Resort and has quickly become popular with both locals and visitors for its coastal European flavors.
According to OpenTable and KAYAK, 73% of guests say an exceptional restaurant experience increases their likelihood of returning to a hotel. At both 1919 and Levant, approximately 60% of diners are tourists, underlining their appeal as international culinary destinations.
“This recognition is the result of a sustained effort to remain at the forefront of luxury gastronomy and offer world-class experiences that satisfy the most discerning palates,” said Ben Tutt, managing partner of The Condado Collection, which manages both properties.
Tutt said the distinction further reinforces Puerto Rico’s position as a high-end tourism destination, where culinary excellence plays a key role in the overall hospitality experience.
