At a time when Puerto Rico’s labor sector faces challenges due to the current socioeconomic situation, and the effects of Hurricanes Irma and Maria on the island, most employees say they are committed to their employers, according to a report released by Aon Puerto Rico.
Journalists, editors, photographers, and students who work at “Diálogo,” the University of Puerto Rico’s official news outlet blasted the decision announced by UPR Interim President, Darrel Hillman, to push for “a new organization model” for the publication.

Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) introduced legislation to establish a “9/11-style” independent commission to investigate the federal response to Hurricanes Irma and María in Puerto Rico.
