After Hours brings global dining to Puerto Rico
After Hours, the nomadic restaurant known for its immersive culinary experiences, announced its global expansion with Puerto Rico as its first international destination.
The pop-up dining concept, founded by Kevin Kelly, has evolved from a regional experiment into a model that blends food, storytelling and community engagement.
“The level of excitement in the After Hours kitchen is immense,” said Kelly, founder and CEO. “To get out of our comfort zone and work with such vibrant people and produce — we couldn’t ask for more.”
After partnering with more than 150 local businesses and hosting more than 250 events across the northeastern United States, the group will bring its collaborative approach to Puerto Rico starting in January.
The island’s tour will include pop-ups and residencies in San Juan, Arecibo, Cabo Rojo and Rincón, highlighting partnerships with local farms, artisans and musicians.
The expansion marks the first phase of After Hours Global, a venture that will take the brand’s nomadic dining concept worldwide.
Following Puerto Rico, the team will host events in Spain, Southern France, Portugal and Morocco before returning to the United States for summer events in Boston and New York.
“Our goal has always been to celebrate local food systems and connect people through the universal language of food,” Kelly said.
Event details for the Puerto Rico series will be announced in December through the company’s website and social channels.
