Axis & Co. launches boutique real estate consulting firm in Puerto Rico

Luis Rafael González, founder of Axis & Co., a real estate consulting and brokerage firm based in Puerto Rico.

Axis & Co., a new boutique consulting and brokerage firm, has launched operations in Puerto Rico, offering services in the commercial, industrial and office real estate sectors.

The firm is led by Luis Rafael González, a real estate executive with more than 20 years of experience managing retail and office assets on the island. He said Axis & Co. will focus on supporting developers, investors and property managers through consulting-based partnerships.

González described the firm’s mission as providing “tangible value to every project through a combination of experience, strategic focus and precise execution.” He said the company aims to assist owners, investors and operators seeking efficiency and clear direction.

Axis & Co.’s model allows clients to access leasing and advisory services through consulting agreements, without the need for a full in-house team. Offerings include landlord and tenant representation, brokerage, lease negotiations, site selection and asset repositioning. The firm also provides tenant mix planning and market research intended to align with long-term property strategies.

González has overseen leasing strategy for international retailers and led repositioning efforts for large-scale retail and entertainment properties. Axis & Co., he said, is focused on helping clients adapt to market shifts and improve property performance throughout the Caribbean and Latin America.

Rumor has it that he wasn’t even able to secure tenants, which led to his replacement. Hopefully, we can make something happen, good luck!
