BluHost debuts progressive culinary experience

Hospitality group BluHost recently hosted a progressive dining event across three of its restaurants — Arena Medalla, Bóveda Restaurante and La Central by Mario Pagán — to introduce new menus and event concepts for weddings, social gatherings and corporate celebrations.
The company wants customers to see its venues as destinations for celebrations, said Jomarie Arturet, BluHost’s vice president of sales and marketing.
“We want them to see our restaurants as settings for memorable moments,” she said. “Each concept has its own style and personality, and we’ll continue developing new experiences that highlight our chefs’ creativity.”
The evening began at Arena Medalla, where guests sampled Grace’s Mojito and explored the 12,500-square-foot space, which includes areas for live music, karaoke and games.
The next stop, Bóveda Restaurante in Hato Rey, featured canapés created by Chef Carol Reyes in an intimate setting for private dinners and business meetings.
The experience concluded at La Central by Mario Pagán, where Executive Chef José Cruz-Prieto served a five-course dinner that included seared warm scallop with coconut polenta and duck breast with curried lentil fricassee and rum sauce.
“With our progressive dining experience, we offer an immersive journey that connects guests with our chefs’ creativity and the versatility of our event spaces,” said Juan Carlos Aponte, BluHost’s director of events.
