The Economic Development Bank for Puerto Rico has granted $230,000 in credit lines to local companies M&B Steel and Vernet, which will allow them to continue operating and grow in the midst of the crisis brought on by Hurricane María, agency President Luis Burdiel-Agudo said.
Tabuchi America, a residential hybrid solar-plus-storage manufacturer, announced the company is donating their Eco Intelligent Battery System (EIBS) to various organizations in Puerto Rico and other Caribbean islands impacted by the hurricanes Irma, José and María.
National Public Finance Guarantee Corporation announced that it and other creditors have voluntarily dismissed without prejudice the adversary complaint filed on Aug. 7, 2017 which sought to compel the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority to deposit revenues with the bond trustee as required by the terms of the PREPA Trust Agreement, PROMESA and the U.S. Constitution.
