The U.S. Small Business Administration is seeking nominations for awards honoring the critical economic role small businesses play in federally funded research and development through SBA’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs.
Praxair Inc. and its divisions and subsidiaries — Praxair Distribution, Inc., Praxair Healthcare Services, Praxair Canada Inc., and Praxair Puerto Rico B.V. — will be increasing the prices charged to its bulk and packaged, industrial, electronics, specialty and medical gas customers in the U.S mainland, Canada and Puerto Rico of effective Jan. 1.
Scotiabank has taken “Global Bank of the Year” honors from The Banker magazine, along with recognition in seven other categories including “Bank of the Year for the American Continent.” It is the first time a Canadian bank receives recognition in these categories.
