Cyber Monday, the Internet’s biggest shopping day of the year is here and, for the first time, local and national retailers catering to Puerto Rico consumers are posting their deals and offers on www.cyberlunes.com, the local version of the www.cybermonday.org site that started the online retail movement seven years ago.
Plaza Carolina, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean’s second-largest mall, unveiled Thursday its new look and expanded store offering in preparation for this year’s holiday season. Reopening activities will take place all weekend and include the traditional lighting of the Christmas tree, musical presentations and special promotional events, mall officials said.
Chilean protein exporter Agrosuper has been doing business in the Puerto Rico food industry since 1996, when it began providing cuts of meat to a local distributor. Since then, company sales have multiplied five-fold, selling nearly 17 million pounds of protein products this year.
