Nearly 18 months after launching flights between the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in Carolina and the islands of St. Croix, St. Thomas and Vieques, regional carrier Seaborne Airlines announced Wednesday plans to expand its fleet of aircraft, investing more than $7 million in three new planes.
Copa Airlines, a subsidiary of Copa Holdings, S.A., will inaugurate today its third flight between Puerto Rico’s Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport and its hub in Panama, just in time for summer vacation travel.
In keeping with its role of overseeing agencies and tour operators in Puerto Rico, the Tourism Company issued Thursday a “cease and desist” order against Mayagüez company JD Reservation Services for operating as an unlicensed travel agency.
