Claro, AEELA launch partnership with exclusive discounts
Claro Puerto Rico has announced a partnership with the Asociación de Empleados del Estado Libre Asociado (AEELA) to provide connectivity benefits and discounts to the association’s members across the island.
The agreement offers savings on mobile, broadband and bundled services for public employees, said Enrique Ortiz de Montellano, CEO of Claro Puerto Rico.
“Puerto Rico’s public employees are an essential driving force behind the island’s development and strength,” Montellano said. “As a company, we are committed to being part of their daily lives and helping them stay connected in every aspect.”
Under the program, AEELA members who are current Claro customers and renew their services — or who switch their mobile lines to Claro — will receive a 10% discount on monthly payments for mobile and broadband plans, as well as 2 Play (internet and phone) and 3 Play (internet, phone and TV) packages.
Members who transfer their lines to Claro will also receive a free pair of Beats Solo Buds. Discounts of up to 10% will apply to accessories, iPads and computers, the company said.
Eric Collazo-Solá, executive director of AEELA, said the collaboration reflects both organizations’ shared goal of supporting the public workforce.
“When every dollar counts more than ever, AEELA and Claro are joining forces to offer savings and benefits that will make a difference in our members’ quality of life,” he said.
