Claro, Spanglish Movies team up to bring FLOUtv to Puerto Rico

FLOUtv is a free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) service offering live and on-demand content in Spanish and English.

Spanglish Movies, a Spanish-language entertainment company, has announced a strategic partnership with telecommunications provider Claro to launch its streaming platform FLOUtv for Puerto Rican audiences.

The agreement aims to deliver culturally resonant programming through Claro’s extensive network across the island, the company stated.

FLOUtv is a Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV (FAST) service offering a mix of live and on-demand content in Spanish and English. Designed with Hispanic communities in mind, the platform focuses on programming tailored to Puerto Rican, Dominican, and Cuban viewers.

Its catalog includes popular genres such as Puerto Rican Lucha Libre, Dominican films, and Latin music shows — all curated to reflect the rhythm and diversity of its audience.

“Partnering with Claro allows us to bring FLOUtv’s unique and culturally rich content directly to Puerto Rican viewers, strengthening their connection to home and heritage,” said Gustavo Aparicio, CEO of Spanglish Movies. “This collaboration exemplifies our mission to bridge technology and culture.”

The move aligns with Spanglish Movies’ broader strategy to expand its reach across connected TV platforms and engage underserved Hispanic audiences through strategic partnerships. By working with mobile and broadband providers like Claro, the company seeks to increase access to content that resonates with first- and second-generation Puerto Rican families both on the island and in the diaspora.

Through this partnership, Claro customers in Puerto Rico will gain direct access to FLOUtv’s growing library of entertainment options, reinforcing the carrier’s position as a leading provider of multimedia services in the region.

The companies described the collaboration as a new era in culturally relevant streaming, allowing viewers to enjoy authentic content that reflects their roots, interests, and language preferences — all “a tu ritmo.”
