Claro, Toroverde open 1st 360° immersive dome in Latin America

Claro Puerto Rico and Toroverde have inaugurated “Claro Space,” a 360-degree immersive projection dome located at the Parque de las Ciencias by Toroverde Powered by Claro in Bayamón. The companies say it is the first of its kind in Latin America.
The venue combines education, entertainment and digital art in a multi-sensory setting featuring high-definition visuals, surround sound and interactive components.
“Claro Space is a vision that celebrates innovation, sustainability and the power of connecting generations through technology,” said Jorge Jorge, CEO of Toroverde.
Powered by Claro Puerto Rico’s fiber-optic and 5G millimeter-wave network, the dome is intended to host events, exhibitions and immersive shows.
“Claro Space is emerging as the region’s most dynamic event venue, combining technology and entertainment in a fully immersive, adaptable environment,” said Claro Puerto Rico CEO Enrique Ortiz de Montellano.
The dome is part of a broader redevelopment effort at the Parque de las Ciencias, which is now connected to Claro’s digital infrastructure. Local officials highlighted the project as a contributor to Bayamón’s efforts to promote innovation and urban development.
Claro Space is scheduled to open to the public in August with a program of events, educational content and interactive exhibits.
