Cooperativa Sagrada Familia launches $5M ‘Autos para Todos’ program

Cooperativa La Sagrada Familia (CSF) has launched “Autos para Todos,” a financing initiative aimed at issuing more than $5 million in new car loans by Aug. 31 to help stimulate Puerto Rico’s auto industry and improve access to personal transportation.
The program offers an annual percentage rate of 2.99% with repayment terms of up to 84 months. Applicants can apply through participating dealerships, CSF branches or the cooperative’s call center. Insurance financing is also available through a partnership with Cooperativa de Seguros Múltiples.
“Our commitment to Puerto Rico calls us to step up and support the auto industry in these times of contraction, while enabling vehicle access for all,” said Eddie W. Alicea-Sáez, chief executive of CSF. “In Puerto Rico, a car is essential to work, study or even get to a medical appointment.”
According to the cooperative, the initiative also responds to challenges stemming from increased tariffs imposed by the Trump administration.
In the first 15 days of the campaign, CSF disbursed more than $2 million in new car loans. It aims to reach the $5 million target by the end of August.
“To our colleagues in the automotive industry, we’re here to walk alongside you through these difficult times as the industry contracts,” Alicea-Sáez said.
Founded more than 65 years ago, CSF closed its 2024 fiscal year with 18.42% asset growth and total assets exceeding $340 million. The cooperative serves more than 39,000 members and employs about 100 people.
