Enterprise opens $1.5M Caguas center to expand services hub
Enterprise has expanded its operations in Puerto Rico with the opening of a $1.5 million rental center in Caguas. The new facility, located at kilometer 0.5 of José Mercado Avenue (PR-33) next to Las Catalinas Mall, serves both business and consumer clients.
The 5,200-square-meter (about 56,000-square-foot) center houses Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Enterprise Truck Rental services.
Luis Limardo, vice president and general manager of Enterprise Mobility, said the expansion underscores the company’s continued investment in Puerto Rico.
“This new, modern facility is in a fantastic location that will allow us to better serve our daily rental, insurance replacement, and commercial customers by providing mobility solutions designed to meet their needs,” Limardo said.
“Our team is deeply committed to Puerto Rico, and we are excited to continue expanding our operations to serve both businesses and residents of the island,” he added.
Enterprise said the new Caguas branch will help meet rising demand for short- and long-term rentals. The company employs nearly 300 people at 22 locations in Puerto Rico and provides vehicles for sectors such as construction, energy, health care and delivery services.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car, founded in 1957, operates a global network of airport and neighborhood locations. Enterprise Truck Rental, launched in 1999, provides cargo vans and trucks for commercial and personal use and now has more than 575 branches in North America.
Limardo said the company plans to continue expanding on the island. “We will continue offering our customers in Puerto Rico the highest level of customer service, which has made Enterprise a global leader in car rental for nearly 70 years,” he said.
