Fransglobal donates $7,750 to fund adoption podcast

Carlos Budet, chairman of the Fransglobal Charity Foundation board, presents a gift during a donation event supporting Hogar Cuna San Cristóbal in Puerto Rico.

Fransglobal Charity Foundation donated toys and contributed $7,750 to Hogar Cuna San Cristóbal to support the creation of an educational podcast focused on adoption and childhood development in Puerto Rico, the organizations said.

The contribution was presented during a visit by volunteer employees from Fransglobal Corp., who spent time with children at the facility and participated in the delivery of the funds. The donation will finance the full production of a podcast addressing topics including adoption, childhood trauma, voluntary relinquishment and the development of secure attachments for adoptive families.

Hogar Cuna San Cristóbal has provided services for children up to age 7 who are survivors of abuse for more than 30 years. The organization operates as both a temporary shelter and an adoption agency and offers trauma-, attachment- and neurodevelopment-informed services aimed at securing safe and permanent family placements.

According to the organizations, the funds will cover all stages of the podcast’s production, including recording, editing, venue rental, visual materials, website management, promotion and the creation of short educational segments.

“For Fransglobal Charity Foundation, this contribution represents a direct commitment to Puerto Rico’s children and to families who wish to adopt,” said Rebecca González-Ouslán, director of Fransglobal Charity Foundation.

“Our support will enable Hogar Cuna San Cristóbal to launch an educational resource that will guide, raise awareness and accompany those seeking to provide a loving home,” she said.

Carlos Budet, chairman of the foundation’s board of directors, said the initiative aligns with the organization’s long-term mission.

“This donation reflects the mission and values that guide our board: to promote projects with real and sustainable impact for children in Puerto Rico,” Budet said.

The podcast is scheduled to launch in January and will be released bimonthly. It will be available free of charge through YouTube, the organization’s website and its social media platforms.

“Fransglobal’s support is transformative,” said Keyla La Santa-Díaz, executive director of Hogar Cuna San Cristóbal. “This podcast is an urgent and necessary tool to educate families, dispel myths, support adoption processes and promote an informed and compassionate adoption culture in Puerto Rico.”

The visit also included the delivery of toys and interaction with staff and children, part of the foundation’s broader social responsibility efforts focused on child well-being, education and community development.
