HCOA opens nominations for 2025 Heroes campaign
HCOA Fitness has launched the third edition of its “HCOA Heroes” campaign, opening nominations to recognize individuals and organizations whose work is creating a lasting impact in Puerto Rico.
The program highlights people and groups who dedicate their time and effort to volunteer initiatives, environmental conservation and community-focused projects.
Nominations are open to the public and membership at HCOA is not required. Anyone can nominate an individual or organization they consider an example of service and commitment.
At HCOA, we believe that wellness goes beyond physical exercise. Our mission is also to foster holistic well-being by supporting individuals and organizations that work toward the progress and sustainability of Puerto Rico. With HCOA Heroes, we want to inspire and support those true heroes who, often silently, are changing lives,” said Lourdes Amorós, HCOA Fitness chief operating officer.
“Nominations can be submitted online until Sept. 30. Entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges, including Amorós, Sales Director José Vázquez and Marketing Director María Cabán.
Two prizes of $1,000 each will be awarded in October, one in the individual category and another for an organization.
HCOA Heroes is part of the company’s “Protect and Enhance” program, which promotes environmental care, community engagement and recognition of social contributions. With this campaign, HCOA says it is extending its impact beyond fitness and into the broader community.
