Hecho en PR launches 2025 Holiday Basket for the season
The Asociación Hecho en Puerto Rico has launched its 2025 Holiday Basket, a limited-edition collection showcasing locally made products during the peak gifting season.
Available in two versions, the baskets highlight items produced entirely on the island and are positioned as personal or corporate gifts that support Puerto Rican businesses.
Association President Mateo Cidre said the project is meant to reflect cultural identity as well as entrepreneurship.
“This is not just a holiday basket — it’s a complete Puerto Rican experience that captures our food, culture and music. It’s like opening a piece of Puerto Rico,” he said.
Each box includes traditional sweets, artisan coffee and culturally inspired items intended to evoke the sounds and customs of a Puerto Rican Christmas.
Cidre added that the curated selection is designed to spotlight the work of local producers.
“Every product tells the story of our entrepreneurs. It’s about reliving a Puerto Rican Christmas, no matter where you are,” he said.
Hecho en Puerto Rico officials emphasized that purchases directly support small and midsize businesses by placing their products before Puerto Rican families locally and in the diaspora.
“With every box, you’re supporting Puerto Rican families and businesses,” Cidre said. “These are products made by the hands of entrepreneurs from our land. We’re putting Puerto Rico on the table of thousands of families.”
The baskets were developed in partnership with Print1 and are available exclusively through the association’s online store, with free shipping to the United States. Because they are a limited-edition release, availability will end once inventory sells out.
