Hecho en Puerto Rico, DDEC launch 4th ‘Detrás del Sello’ season
The Hecho en Puerto Rico Association, in partnership with the Department of Economic Development and Commerce, has launched the fourth season of its digital series “Detrás del Sello,” or “Behind the Seal,” which spotlights local companies shaping Puerto Rico’s business landscape.
“With this fourth season, we reaffirm our commitment to showcasing the positive impact of our local companies,” said Mateo Cidre, president of Hecho en Puerto Rico. “Each story presented in ‘Detrás del Sello’ is proof that Puerto Rico produces with quality, passion and a forward-looking vision. This series is an invitation to believe in and support what’s ours.”
This season features 10 companies: Islandwide, Apiarios Caraballo, Alonso & Carus Iron Works, Steel & Pipes Inc., Bravada, Hacienda Chocolat, Latin Shots, Olein, Mistolin and Café Coquí. Each is profiled for its growth story, contribution to the island’s economy and strategies for competing in global markets.
“‘Detrás del Sello’ continues to be a powerful platform to amplify the voices of our entrepreneurs. It allows us to showcase to our people and the world the high-quality products and services that are made right here,” Economic Development Secretary Sebastián Negrón-Reichard said, adding that the initiative reflects “the government’s continued support for Puerto Rican industry.”
New episodes will premiere each Wednesday on the association’s YouTube channel.
