Pizza@ opens $200K Plaza Río Hondo location in Bayamón

The new Pizza@ location, a fast-casual build-your-own pizza restaurant, opened this month in the Plaza Río Hondo food court in Bayamón.

Pizza@ has opened a $200,000 location at Plaza Río Hondo in Bayamón, the brand’s fourth store in Puerto Rico and its second opening in less than a year.

The restaurant, situated in the shopping center’s food court, is operated by Rich Port Restaurants, part of the Tirri Group. The opening brings between 18 and 20 jobs to the region, the company said.

Pizza@ allows customers to build their own pizza by selecting from an assortment of ingredients. The menu also includes the brand’s Signature Pizzas, including The Carnivore, Lasagna Pizza, Tripleta and Bacon Cheeseburger, as well as wings, calzones, cheesy garlic bread and family-size 14-inch and 18-inch options.

“The opening in Bayamón reflects the continued support of our customers and our commitment to offering a fresh, accessible and high-quality concept,” said Luis Albino, director of operations for Rich Port Restaurants. “We’re very excited about what this expansion represents for the brand.”

Justin Tirri, president of Tirri Group, said the Plaza Río Hondo store fits into the company’s broader expansion plan.

“This new location in Plaza Río Hondo reaffirms our confidence in the market, our commitment to job creation and our interest in continuing to grow strategically,” he said.
