Popular honored with top digital banking awards
Popular has been recognized by Global Finance in the 2025 “World’s Best Digital Banks” awards, receiving multiple honors for its consumer and corporate digital platforms.
The bank was named “Best Consumer Digital Bank,” “Best Integrated Consumer Banking Site” and “Best Mobile Banking App” in the consumer category. It also received “Best Social Media Marketing & Services in Latin America and Puerto Rico” and “Best Corporate/Institutional Digital Bank in Puerto Rico.”

Popular, which is preparing to celebrate its 132nd anniversary, said the Global Finance awards highlight progress in digital innovation and customer experience. Winners are selected based on digital strategy, customer adaptation and platform quality.
