Robinson School 5K to fund new scholarship program

All proceeds from Robinson School’s “Hawk, Walk, Run” 5K on Oct. 18 in San Juan will support the school’s scholarship fund.

Robinson School will host its annual “Hawk, Walk, Run” 5K on Oct. 18 in San Juan, one of the institution’s key fundraising events.

The race coincides with the start of open enrollment for the school’s 2026-2027 Academic Scholarship Program, which aims to expand access to education for students from public and private schools across Puerto Rico.

“We want this 5K to be not only a celebration of sports and family, but also an opportunity for other students to access what Robinson School has to offer,” said Cindy Ogg, head of the school. “Every step we take together in this race is an investment in the future of our students.”

This year’s event will include a community market with local businesses, music and children’s activities.

“We want this event to not only promote physical well-being but also strengthen the sense of community and support our local entrepreneurs,” Ogg said.

All proceeds will go to the scholarship fund, which provides opportunities for academically talented or economically disadvantaged students. Since its creation, the program has supported more than 200 students.

Those interested in participating or learning more can register online or contact the admissions office.
