Kids throughout Puerto Rico received new sneakers.

Skechers and Shoe Carnival teamed up to donate more than 2,000 pairs of new BOBS from Skechers shoes to children in need in Puerto Rico. Volunteers from Skechers and Shoe Carnival distributed BOBS footwear during a two-day event in San Juan and Aguadilla.

The more than 2,000 pair donation was provided through Skechers’ partnership with United Way, the K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers charitable organization and Shoe Carnival, which currently operates nine retail stores in Puerto Rico.

After receiving their new BOBS, children enjoyed refreshments and personalized their pairs at hosted decorating stations.

Since the BOBS from Skechers program launched in 2011, Skechers has donated more than 13 million pairs of new shoes to children in need. Skechers partners with Head Start programs, education foundations, homeless shelters, disaster relief, and 501(c)(3) organizations to assist children and families in communities across the United States and around the world.
