T-Mobile expands 5G Business Internet to local medium, large firms

Jorge Martel, general manager of T-Mobile Puerto Rico

T-Mobile has expanded its 5G Business Internet service to support medium and large enterprises in Puerto Rico, offering a fixed wireless solution aimed at improving connectivity for offices, retail operations and distribution centers.

The service, which builds on the company’s earlier rollout for small businesses, provides high-speed internet with no annual contracts, hidden fees or overage charges. T-Mobile said the solution is designed for fast deployment, easy scaling and improved flexibility in locations where fiber or cable infrastructure may be limited.

“Now every business in Puerto Rico can rely on T-Mobile’s 5G network — the largest and fastest in Puerto Rico — strengthening the island’s business ecosystem to make it more competitive and productive,” said Jorge Martel, general manager of T-Mobile Puerto Rico.

The plan includes unlimited data, a 5G Wi-Fi router at no additional cost, and local customer support. Businesses can self-install the service in about 15 minutes without requiring technician visits.

As part of a limited-time promotion, the carrier is offering the plan for $35 per month when paired with an eligible T-Mobile for Business voice line. The offer includes a $25 monthly discount applied through bill credits.

Businesses that activate a new qualifying Business Internet line may also be eligible for a $300 virtual prepaid Mastercard rebate, which is expected to be delivered within 10 weeks of activation.

T-Mobile said the service can serve as a primary internet source in underserved areas or as a backup connection to boost bandwidth or rapidly deploy new locations.

Customers have up to 15 days to test the service. If unsatisfied, they may return the equipment for a full refund.
