Gov. Alejandro García-Padilla stressed Tuesday the importance of the development of the aircraft maintenance, repair and reconditioning center by Lufthansa Technick in Aguadilla as the “axis of a new industry that will consolidate the ongoing diversification of the island’s economy.”
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Office of Administration Facilities Management and Engineering recently announced the completion of an $8 million renovation of the Border Patrol Ramey Sector headquarters and station, located in the western town of Aguadilla.
Casual dining restaurant chain Denny’s is marking its 25th anniversary in Puerto Rico and apparently has no plans to scale back its presence, announcing the construction of a new $2 million location in Aguadilla that is slated to open in February 2015.
