The Public-Private Partnership Authority issued a reminder Tuesday to central government agencies and Puerto Rico mayors of the Mar. 31 deadline to submit their proposals for potential Public Private Partnerships for evaluation.
Ports Authority Executive Director Ingrid C. Colberg-Rodríguez, announced Tuesday that the federal government has allocated $5.7 million for maintenance of commercial shipping and $700,000 to analyze the dredging the San Juan bay.
Gov. Alejandro García-Padilla signed into law Senate Bill 110, which amends the “Law of the Authority for the Redevelopment of the Land and Facilities of the Roosevelt Roads Naval Station” to extend its term as a public corporation for an additional 30 years, or until the Authority complies with the agreements with the U.S. Department of the Navy.
The Roosevelt Roads Redevelopment Authority opened Thursday a Request for Proposals process for small entrepreneurs and merchants located mostly in the eastern region of Puerto Rico seeking to launch eco-tourism services, nature related tourism projects, recreational and/or complementary activities.
