New York Healthcare’s Puerto Rico Hurricane Relief Fund, which was established to provide direct aid to health care workers and other workers on the front lines of the recovery effort in Puerto Rico, has contributed $1 million to the Puerto Rico Community Foundation, the nonprofits announced.
Molina Healthcare Inc. skipped its annual corporate holiday party, and instead opted to donate the funds set aside for the event to Unidos por Puerto Rico to continue helping Hurricane María victims in Puerto Rico, company President Carlos Carrero confirmed.
The Puerto Rico Chapter of the American Red Cross announced it has received a $300,000 donation from GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) to support its relief and recovery efforts directed to those impacted by hurricane María in Puerto Rico.
