A local delegation of 27 teams under the leadership of the Puerto Rico Institute of Robotics excelled in world championship competition held this past weekend at the Anaheim Convention Center, picking up 12 international awards.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration will soon put in orbit a small satellite dubbed “CINEMA,” developed by a group of eight Puerto Rican engineering students in collaboration with engineers and scientists from the University of California at Berkeley.
Responding to upcoming changes to the Pell Grant, the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico announced it has revised its undergraduate engineering and geomatic sciences programs at it’s San Juan and Orlando, Fla. campuses.
