Grupo Guayacán Inc. will host a special workshop entitled “Innovation Strategies: Tools for Today’s and Tomorrow’s Entrepreneurs,” by Robert “Bob” Dávila, Aug. 11, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The sixth edition of the “Caguas Compite” business training program — an incubator and mentorship project for micro-entrepreneurs — closed with a total of 51 people trained, 12 businesses in operation, about 20 new jobs and $1.2 million in projected sales in the first year.
The municipality of Caguas headed a commercial mission to Colombia last week that produced some 60 business meetings and potential future business opportunities, city officials said Tuesday.
