Off-price retailer T.J.Maxx is marking its first anniversary of operations in Puerto Rico with the opening of three new stores in Carolina, Ponce and Caguas, on Nov. 10.
In the wake of the success it has had since its arrival to the Puerto Rico market, retailer New Jersey-based Burlington is moving forward with expansion plans for 2012, with the opening of at least two new stores, high-ranking company officials confirmed Wednesday during a meeting with members of the local media.
The Pontifical Catholic University in Ponce has invested some $20 million over the past two years in its facilities, human resources and to strengthen its research programs to enrich its academic offer, school officials said Thursday.
