The Foundation for Puerto Rico unveiled in Orocovis the preliminary results of its pilot “Bottom Up Destination Recovery Initiative” pilot project, which aims at social and economic development of communities “to make the island a destination for the world.”
United for Puerto Rico reached an agreement with Foundation for Puerto Rico, through which the latter will provide technical and administrative support in a cost-efficient manner to increase the organization’s capacity and agility to process grant applications, the nonprofits announced.
The Foundation for Puerto Rico announced the establishment of a grant fund to mitigate the loss of small and medium-sized businesses in Puerto Rico, as well as a digital platform that allows local entrepreneurs to communicate that they are already operating.
