The United Automobile Importers Group (known as GUIA for its initials in Spanish), an organization that represents the Puerto Rico automotive industry, recently launched the “Puerto Rico Automotive Industry Report 2012-2013.”
New car sales in Puerto Rico showed a 6.5 percent drop in March, a decline that affected many of the most popular brands, including Toyota, Ford and Chrysler, the United Automobile Importers Group known as GUIA revealed Wednesday.
Auto sales in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands totaled 8,343 units for the month of October, remaining pretty much flat in comparison to the same month last year, the United Automobile Importers Group known as GUIA announced Thursday.
