The Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport will inaugurate a second immigration and customs area below the first level of Terminal A — currently occupied by jetBlue — Aug. 18. The facility entailed a $4.8 million investment, this media outlet confirmed Thursday.
Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste, S.A.B. de C.V., partner in Aerostar Airport Holdings, LLC and operator of the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan and the Public Sector Pension Investment Board, one of Canada's largest pension investment managers, announced Tuesday their collective acquisition of a 50 percent interest in Aerostar Airport Holdings LLC.
Norwegian Air Shuttle, which officially touched ground in Puerto Rico in November 2015, will drop service between Europe and San Juan effective this winter, the company and local airport officials confirmed.
